This work carries a dual meaning: “abstracted by spring” and “expressing spring abstractly.” It’s also the title of my 2nd solo exhibition held in the spring of 2024.
Using vibrant colors to represent spring, I depicted the artist’s heart—swayed and mesmerized by spring—in an abstract image. While being part of the same series, I experimented with slightly different styles in each piece.
Though it feels like spring has arrived, the reality suggests otherwise… Amid the chaos of various circumstances, I pray that a true spring will blossom in my heart and yours.
이번 작품은 ‘봄에 취하다’ 와 ‘봄을 추상적으로 표현하다’ 라는 중의적인 의미를 가지고 있으며, 2024년 봄에 열렸던 저의 두번째 개인전의 타이틀이기도 합니다.
봄을 표현하는 화려한 색상들로 봄에 취해 흐느적대는 작가의 마음을 추상적 이미지로 묘사했으며, 같은 시리즈지만 작품마다 조금씩 다른 스타일을 사용해 보았습니다.
봄이 온 듯 하지만 봄이 아닌 현실.. 여러가지 상황이 어우러져 혼란스러운 저와 여러분의 마음속에도 진정한 봄이 오기를 기도해봅니다.
