During a season of suffering, I encountered God’s gentle hand of comfort and His blessings like blossoms raining from heaven, filling my life. This piece expresses the spontaneous joy of praise that overflowed from within me.
and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. (Isaiah 61:3)
삶의 고난의 순간, 하나님께서 내려주셨던 따스한 위로의 손길과 축복을 경험하였습니다. 당시 하늘에서 축복이 꽃비처럼 내려와 제 삶을 채우시는 듯한 느낌과, 저도 모르게 흘러나오던 찬양의 기쁨을 표현한 작품입니다.
무릇 시온에서 슬퍼하는 자에게 화관을 주어 그 재를 대신하며 기쁨의 기름으로 그 슬픔을 대신하며 찬송의 옷으로 그 근심을 대신하시고 그들이 의의 나무 곧 여호와께서 심으신 그 영광을 나타낼 자라 일컬음을 받게 하려 하심이라 (이사야 61:3)
