Your appearance was once as clear as a photograph
is slowly weathered and worn down by the passage of time.

Decades of time have blurred your face
but I can still see your silhouette, eyes, beautiful smile, and the color you used to have.
If we meet again someday somewhere
even if time has changed your appearance
I’m sure I can recognize you at a glance
because I remember your colors so clearly.
Because of the new relationships around us
even if we can’t hold hands together happily
even if I can’t hug you hotly
but we can smile a little from afar.
And I sometimes take out and taste brand-new memory like a treasured candy,
look forward to meeting you again someday.

한때 사진처럼 선명했던 당신의 모습은
시간의 흐름속에 서서히 풍화되어 낡아져갑니다
더 늦기전에 아직 남아 있는 당신의 조각들을
퍼즐처럼 맞추어 이 그림을 그려봅니다
수십년의 세월이 당신의 얼굴을 흐릿하게 만들었지만
당신의 실루엣, 눈매, 아름다운 미소..
그리고 당신에게 풍기던 컬러가 아직 남아있네요
우리 언젠가 어디선가 다시 만난다면
시간이 당신의 모습을 변하게 했을지라도
당신을 한눈에 알아볼수 있을거란 확신이 드는건
제가 당신의 컬러를 선명하게 기억하기 때문입니다
우리 곁의 새로운 인연들 때문에
우리 반갑게 손을 맞잡을순 없을지라도
뜨겁게 포옹할순 없을지라도
먼발치에서 살짝 미소 지을수는 있겠지요
그리고 다시금 또렷해진 당신의 기억을
아껴둔 사탕처럼 가끔씩 꺼내 맛보며
